Our next Brownie meeting will be this Tuesday, January 25
3:45-5:15 in the Art room
Parents, please arrive early for a 5:00 p.m. meeting in the music room to go over Girl Scout Cookie sales.

We have a lot planned for the rest of the school year. Girls will have an opportunity to earn some fun patches.
Also, we are looking for two families to volunteer to provide a snack and drink for the March 22 meeting.

Meeting Tuesday, January 11
It's almost here, our first meeting of 2011!
We will be talking about community service. How we can help, on any level....big or small, it ALL makes a difference. We will be encouraging the girls and their families to find a way to "help out". We will brainstorm ideas and then girls can discuss with their families. At our next meeting, January 25, we will have the girls share their plans or efforts if they have already taken Action. Taking Action is part of the Girl Scout Quest that they are following this year.
I have put the links on the sidebar for the two Meal Trains that Emma's Mom, Alisa, has graciously set up. Please consider these for community service; planning a meal, preparing a meal, making a small card or paper flowers to add to the meal can make for a really great way to spend some time together and to give back.

P.S. we will also make necklaces with our charms on Tuesday....I know the girls will be super duper excited!!
